PlayStation is opening its Black Friday deals early

PlayStation has been building momentum heading into the holiday rush, but this year Sony is stepping in earlier and harder than usual. With competition tighter than ever and players waiting for the right moment to upgrade, the company is launching its Black Friday offers on November 21, rolling out discounts across consoles, accessories, subscriptions, and digital games.

The standout deals come from the hardware lineup. Sony is pushing several PS5 bundles at noticeably lower prices, including:

  • PS5 Digital Edition 825GB – Fortnite “Flowering Chaos” Bundle: $399.99
  • PS5 1TB – Fortnite “Flowering Chaos” Bundle: $449.99

Both bundles include 1,000 V-Bucks and exclusive in-game cosmetics, making them some of the strongest priced PS5 packs of the year. Certain regions will also see up to $100 off standard PS5 models, making the console more accessible than it has been in months.

The accessory deals aren’t far behind:

  • PSVR2 gets a steep $100 discount
  • PlayStation Portal drops by $20

DualSense controllers, headsets, and earbuds receive additional cuts depending on region:

  • $20 USD off Pulse Elite Wireless Headset
  • $30 USD off Pulse Explore Wireless Earbuds
  • $30 USD off DualSense Edge Wireless Controller
  • $20 USD off DualSense Wireless Controller
  • $20 USD off Access Controller

On the digital side, Sony is preparing one of its biggest PlayStation Store promotions of the year. Hundreds of PS4 and PS5 titles will be discounted up to 75%, covering major exclusives, big third-party releases, and top indie hits. PlayStation Gear joins in with a 60% storewide sale, which means merch collectors will have plenty to look out for.

PlayStation Plus also gets its own set of offers. New 12-month memberships will be available at up to 33% off, and existing subscribers upgrading their tier will benefit from reduced prices as well.

It all adds up to a clear message: Sony wants to dominate the Black Friday window by hitting players with aggressive cuts long before the holiday surge peaks. Whether you’ve been waiting to buy a PS5, renew PS Plus, or grab a few discounted games, November 21 is shaping up to be the key date.
