PlayStation Plus October 2026 games revealed

PlayStation Plus subscribers have three new games to look forward to in October, with Sony preparing another varied lineup for the service. The selection includes a Formula 1 racing game, a competitive extraction shooter and a co-op action title.
All three games will be available to subscribers starting October 6 and can be claimed until November 2.

PlayStation Plus October 2026 Games

F1 25 (PS5)

• Genre: Racing
• Available: October 6 – November 2

F1 25 brings the official Formula 1 experience to PlayStation Plus subscribers. The game features an updated Career mode alongside My Team 2.0, allowing players to manage their own F1 team and compete across the championship.
Players can also take part in multiplayer races and various online activities through F1 World.

Hunt: Showdown 1896 (PS5)

• Genre: Extraction Shooter
• Available: October 6 – November 2
  

Hunt: Showdown 1896 offers a much darker multiplayer experience. Players enter dangerous environments filled with monsters and other Hunters while searching for targets, collecting bounties and trying to escape alive.
The game can be played solo or cooperatively with up to two other players, making teamwork and careful planning important during each match.

Earth Defense Force: World Brothers 2 (PS5, PS4)

• Platforms: PS5, PS4
• Genre: Co-op Action
• Available: October 6 – November 2

Earth Defense Force: World Brothers 2 takes the series into a colorful voxel-based world where players must defend Earth from gigantic enemies. The game features four-player online co-op as well as two-player local split-screen, allowing players to team up against its massive enemies.

October’s lineup also comes with several HorrorFest-themed bonuses, including additional content for games such as Call of Duty: Warzone, Hunt: Showdown 1896 and Overwatch 2.

Players who have not yet claimed the September PlayStation Plus games will have until October 5 to add them to their libraries.

With F1 25, Hunt: Showdown 1896 and Earth Defense Force: World Brothers 2, the October lineup offers three very different experiences for PlayStation Plus subscribers. All three games will be available from October 6, 2026.
