GTA 6 reveals 12 brand-new screenshots

Grand Theft Auto VI has received another batch of new screenshots, giving fans a closer look at Rockstar’s highly anticipated open-world game. The new images are part of a major Game Informer feature focused on GTA 6 and offer fresh glimpses of its characters, locations, weather systems, and activities.

The new issue includes a 14-page feature dedicated to GTA 6, with interviews and details about how Rockstar has built the world of Leonida. Alongside the new information, 12 previously unseen screenshots have been revealed, showing different parts of the game in greater detail.

The screenshots give us another look at Jason Duval and Lucia Caminos, with the pair appearing together in several scenes. The images also showcase different environments across Leonida, from the streets and coastline of Vice City to more rural areas outside the city.

One of the most interesting aspects shown in the new screenshots is the scale and variety of the world. GTA 6’s map will feature six major regions, each with its own environments, wildlife, settlements, and activities. Vice City remains the largest urban area, while locations such as the Leonida Keys, Grassrivers, Ambrosia, and Port Gellhorn offer very different surroundings.

The new images also highlight Rockstar’s work on the game’s weather system. GTA 6 will feature more extreme weather conditions than previous entries, including thunderstorms and hurricanes. These weather events are designed to make Leonida feel more dynamic rather than simply changing the appearance of the world.

Wildlife will also play a much larger role in GTA 6. Rockstar has created more than 170 animal species for Leonida, with creatures appearing across land, water, and the skies. This includes animals native to Florida-inspired environments as well as species that have been introduced to the region.

The screenshots also provide additional looks at some of the activities players will be able to take part in outside of the main story. GTA 6 will feature a wide range of recreational activities, including basketball, wrestling, skydiving, scuba diving, exercising, and other interactions throughout Leonida.

Rockstar is also putting considerable focus on the relationship between Jason and Lucia, with the two characters appearing together throughout the new material. Their partnership remains a central part of the game’s story, while players will be able to explore Leonida and take part in criminal activities as they build their reputation.

With GTA 6 now less than two months away, these new screenshots provide another detailed look at what Rockstar has been building. The game is scheduled to launch on November 19, 2026, for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.
