Sony has revealed the first game joining the PlayStation Plus Extra catalog in October 2026. While the full lineup is still under wraps, one title has already been confirmed as a day-one addition to the service.

PS Plus Extra: Day One
Mycopunk will become the first confirmed PS Plus Extra game for October 2026. Developed by Pigeons at Play and published by Devolver Digital, the co-op shooter is making its console debut on PS5 alongside its full 1.0 launch.
The game supports up to four players, putting players in control of a group of robot misfits working as exterminators for the SAXON corporation. Together, they will explore a planet overrun by a mysterious fungal catastrophe while completing missions and fighting their way through the environment.
Mycopunk has already been available through Early Access on PC, but its October release will mark the game’s transition to its full 1.0 version and its first appearance on consoles.

This is only the first confirmed game for October’s PS Plus Extra lineup. Sony is expected to reveal the remaining games on October 14, with additional PS5 and PS4 titles joining the catalog later in the month.
