Call of Duty: Black Ops and Black Ops 2 are now available on Playstation

Activision has officially released Call of Duty: Black Ops and Call of Duty: Black Ops II on PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4. Both classics are now available through the PlayStation Store for $39.99 each, giving players the chance to revisit two of the most beloved entries in the Black Ops series on modern PlayStation hardware.

To celebrate the launch, PlayStation Plus members can purchase either game for $19.99 for a limited time, cutting the standard retail price in half. The promotion offers subscribers a significant discount if they’re looking to jump back into the original Black Ops campaigns, multiplayer, or Zombies modes.

While both games are now available on PlayStation’s latest consoles, players should be aware that none of the downloadable content is included with the base purchase. If you want access to the additional Zombies maps, multiplayer map packs, and other post-launch content, you’ll need to purchase the Season Pass separately.

Activision has listed the Call of Duty: Black Ops Season Pass and Call of Duty: Black Ops II Season Pass at $29.99 each. These passes unlock all previously released DLC for their respective games but are sold independently from the base versions.

Players subscribed to PlayStation Plus can currently purchase each Season Pass for $9.89 as part of a limited-time promotion, reducing the price by more than 65%. The offer provides an affordable way for returning players to experience the complete versions of both games, including every Zombies expansion and multiplayer DLC pack.

With Black Ops and Black Ops II now available on PS4 and PS5, PlayStation players once again have access to two of the most iconic entries in Call of Duty history. While the lack of bundled DLC may disappoint some fans, the current PlayStation Plus discount makes upgrading to the complete experience considerably more affordable.
