9 games are leaving Xbox Game Pass

Xbox Game Pass is getting another round of changes in October, and subscribers will soon have to say goodbye to several games currently available through the service. A total of nine titles are scheduled to leave the Game Pass library on October 15, 2026.

The list includes some notable releases, including Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, which won Game of the Year in 2025, alongside A Plague Tale: Requiem and several other titles.

All nine games are currently scheduled to leave the service on October 15. This means subscribers still have time to play them before they are removed from the Game Pass catalog.

Among the games on the list, Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 is arguably the biggest name. The turn-based RPG became one of 2025’s most acclaimed releases and took home several major awards. A Plague Tale: Requiem is another notable title, continuing the story of Amicia and Hugo from A Plague Tale: Innocence.

Other games offer a much wider variety of experiences. Crime Scene Cleaner puts players in the role of someone tasked with cleaning up crime scenes, while Pacific Drive combines survival gameplay with a mysterious road-trip setting. The Casting of Frank Stone delivers a cinematic horror experience set within the Dead by Daylight universe.

Players who are currently enjoying any of these games may want to continue their playthrough before October 15. Game Pass subscribers can also purchase the games before they leave the service, with discounts generally available while they remain in the catalog.

With nine games leaving on the same day, October 15 will be an important date for Game Pass subscribers who have unfinished games in their libraries.
