Grinding Gear Games has announced a special free-play event for Path of Exile 2: The Last of the Druids, giving players a full weekend to jump into the sequel at no cost. The reveal was made through an official video message featuring studio director Jonathan Rogers, who encouraged both newcomers and long-time ARPG fans to take advantage of the opportunity.
This limited-time event allows players to explore the game’s new classes, combat revamps, and early progression systems while also earning three exclusive cosmetic microtransactions simply by participating throughout the weekend. It’s a chance to experiment, test builds, and get a taste of the sequel’s direction without any commitment.
Grinding Gear Games later confirmed that the free-play window runs from December 12 to December 15 (PST) across all supported platforms, giving players multiple days to dive in and unlock the rewards.
