The excitement surrounding the launch of Battlefield 6 reached its peak until players got stuck at the login screen. Many users reported being unable to access the game through the EA App, encountering repeated error messages. The issue quickly became a hot topic on social media; some claimed the launcher had crashed, while others said their sessions were automatically locked.
Shared screenshots show that the error affected both Standard and Gold Edition players. Some users reported messages stating that the EA App either failed to recognize the game or refused the server connection. Interestingly, the same accounts were able to play without issues when purchasing the game via Steam.
As the discussion spread online, Battlefield head Vince Zampella jumped in with a humorous response. On his official X account, he replied to users in a playful tone:

The post quickly went viral, dividing the community. Some players praised Zampella’s honesty and humor, while others criticized EA, asking, “Doesn’t the company trust its own platform?”
So far, EA has not released an official technical statement. While Battlefield 6 is enjoying a strong start on Steam, the ongoing EA App issues continue to cast a shadow over the launch experience.
