Several games will soon leave Xbox Game Pass

Xbox Game Pass is getting ready for another rotation as we approach the end of the month. A handful of notable titles are set to depart the subscription service, giving players a short window to jump back in and wrap up unfinished runs before they’re gone.

Five games are scheduled to leave the library across Console, Cloud, and PC. The lineup includes a few standout genres from soulslike action to classic-style JRPG adventures:

  • Barbie Project Friendship: A cozy adventure aimed at younger audiences with light exploration and mini-games.
  • Lords of the Fallen: A dark and challenging soulslike reboot featuring brutal boss fights and dual-realm gameplay.
  • Octopath Traveler: A beloved HD-2D JRPG where eight heroes follow their own personal stories across a sprawling world.
  • Octopath Traveler II: The sequel expands the same formula with improved combat, deeper paths, and new characters.
  • SteamWorld Build: A city-builder with a twist: you mine deep underground while managing a frontier-style town.

Microsoft notes that these titles will remain available until November 30th, so there’s still time if any of them have been sitting untouched in your backlog. Fans of Octopath in particular may want to move fast, as losing both entries at the same time definitely stings.

As always, Game Pass subscribers will get exclusive discounts on any games leaving the service, in case you want to hold onto one permanently after it rotates out.

With a new month right around the corner, fresh additions are expected to replace what’s leaving, so December’s lineup could help balance the loss.
