God of War: Laufey pre-order bonuses revealed

Sony has revealed the pre-order bonuses for God of War: Laufey, giving players a closer look at what they can receive by securing the game before its release. The new details also include the contents of the Digital Deluxe Edition and additional information about Faye’s equipment.

Pre-orders for God of War: Laufey will open on September 29 at 10:00 AM local time, ahead of the game’s release on February 16, 2027 for PS5.

Players who pre-order any edition before launch will receive the following bonuses:

• Last Wish Armor Set
• Phranque Golden Leaves Appearance
• In-game Resource Pack

The bonus items marked as in-game equipment will not be available immediately. Players will unlock them as they progress through the story.

Digital Deluxe Edition

Alongside the standard version, Sony has also revealed a Digital Deluxe Edition with additional equipment and digital extras. The edition includes:

• Dark Alchemy Armor Set
• Dark Alchemy Blade
• Dark Alchemy Bow Scales
• Dark Alchemy Catalyst
• In-game Resource Pack
• Digital Mini Artbook
• Official God of War: Laufey Digital Soundtrack

The new information also gives players a closer look at Faye’s combat system. One of the biggest additions is the Serpent Bow, a new weapon that gives her a ranged combat option alongside her sword.

The Serpent Bow can be used in different ways depending on how players aim. Faye can quickly fire arrows during close-range encounters or switch to a more precise aiming mode for longer-distance attacks. The weapon can also be customized with different Scales, which can alter its appearance and provide additional perks.

Faye’s equipment can be further customized through Blades, Scales, and Catalysts, allowing players to adjust different aspects of her combat style throughout the adventure.

God of War: Laufey launches on February 16, 2027, exclusively for PS5. Pre-orders begin September 29.
