Sony has revealed a new Marvel’s Wolverine Limited Edition PS5 collection ahead of Insomniac Games’ highly anticipated superhero game. The new lineup brings Wolverine’s iconic colors and claw-inspired details to the PS5 console, DualSense controller, and several accessories.
The centerpiece of the collection is the PS5 Digital Edition – Marvel’s Wolverine Battle Yellow Limited Edition Bundle. The console uses a striking yellow-and-black design inspired by Wolverine’s appearance, with claw marks running across the system. The scratches are designed to give the impression that Wolverine has physically torn into the console, even revealing parts of the hardware underneath.
The matching DualSense controller follows the same visual style, featuring a black-and-yellow finish, yellow analog sticks, a yellow PlayStation button, and claw marks across its body. The controller will also be available separately, allowing players who already own a PS5 to pick up the Wolverine-themed accessory without purchasing the console bundle.
Sony is also offering additional options for existing PS5 owners. Players with a PS5 Slim will be able to purchase Battle Yellow Limited Edition console covers for both the Digital and Disc Drive versions. Meanwhile, PS5 Pro owners can choose between the Battle Yellow design and a separate Adamantium Limited Edition featuring a metallic finish inspired by Wolverine’s iconic adamantium skeleton.
The Adamantium theme will also be available for the DualSense controller, giving fans another option with a more premium-looking silver finish. This means the collection isn’t limited to the main console bundle, with several accessories available for players who want to give their existing hardware a Wolverine makeover.
Pre-orders for the new collection will open on August 19 at 10 AM local time, while the products will officially launch on September 15, the same day Marvel’s Wolverine arrives on PS5. Sony also notes that the limited-edition products will be available in limited quantities.
