The developer has confirmed that Halo: Campaign Evolved will include a physical game disc inside its boxed editions for both Xbox Series X and PlayStation 5.
The confirmation came during Halo Studios’ latest community Q&A, where one of the most common questions focused on whether players purchasing a physical copy would actually receive a disc. According to the studio, anyone buying the Xbox or PlayStation version at retail will get both a physical case and a game disc, giving collectors something tangible to add to their shelves.
The announcement stands in sharp contrast to recent industry trends, where several publishers have shifted toward boxed editions that contain only a digital download code.
