Gears of War: E-Day may have quietly hinted at its release timing through a new collaboration tied to WWE events.
It was recently announced that the game will appear as a presenting sponsor during AAA Triplemania events scheduled for September 11 and 13. While no official release date was mentioned, the timing of the partnership has immediately sparked speculation among fans that the game could launch around the same period.
The theory comes from how large entertainment partnerships are often coordinated close to a game’s release window. Because of that, many players believe Xbox could be preparing Gears of War: E-Day for a late summer or early fall release rather than much later in the year.
