Now things have become more concrete, players using the Cronus Zen device are reportedly being permanently banned on both PC and console. Many users claim that when they tried launching Battlefield 6 with the Cronus Zen connected, they were immediately locked out of their accounts.
But what is Cronus Zen?
The Cronus Zen is an adapter that manipulates controller signals, offering features like recoil reduction, aim assist, and auto macros; all of which can create an unfair advantage in competitive shooters. The device works across both PC and console versions. Recently, players have shared images online showing that Battlefield 6 is now actively banning Cronus Zen users.
This wave of bans has sparked major debate across the gaming community. While some applaud the decision as a move toward fair play, others argue it may be triggering false positives, unfairly punishing innocent players. Banned users have voiced mixed reactions: “The Cronus community is losing it, but it’s better to play the game the way it was meant to be played.”, “We’ve been using these devices for years, why are bans happening only now?”
