Six games will leave Xbox Game Pass in mid-December

Xbox Game Pass is preparing for its next rotation, and this time the departing lineup includes a mix of fan-favorite indies, family titles, and even a major fighting game. A total of six games are officially marked as “Leaving Soon,” and they’ll disappear from the service in mid-December 2025.

If any of these have been sitting in your backlog, consider this your last reminder, the countdown has started.

Leaving Xbox Game Pass soon

Hollow Knight: Voidheart Edition

A modern metroidvania classic built on tight controls, challenging boss design, and a haunting underground world that rewards curiosity and precision.

Wildfrost

A charming-but-brutal deck-building roguelike where tactical planning matters as much as your card synergies, wrapped in a deceptively cute art style.

PAW Patrol World

A family-friendly open-world adventure that lets younger players explore colorful regions, complete simple missions, and interact with the show’s iconic pups.

Cataclismo

A hybrid RTS with modular fortress-building, large-scale sieges, and a strong focus on creative defensive engineering as waves of enemies close in.

Still Wakes the Deep

A story-driven horror experience set on a 1970s offshore oil rig, using claustrophobic environments and environmental tension to deliver slow-burn dread.

Mortal Kombat 11

A cinematic fighter packed with flashy combos, competitive depth, and one of the most polished single-player story campaigns in the genre.

Losing six games at once always stings, especially when the lineup includes heavy hitters like Hollow Knight and Mortal Kombat 11. Still, that’s the nature of Game Pass: The library shifts, new titles rotate in, and the cycle keeps the service feeling alive. If any of these departures were on your backlog, now’s the moment to jump in before they’re gone for good.
