Battlefield 6 has only been out for a few days, yet players are already facing a familiar sight, cheaters are back. As with every new entry in the series, aimbots, wallhacks, and invisibility exploits have once again begun to cast a shadow over the multiplayer experience.
Clips shared on social media show players achieving unrealistically high scores in short periods. In the footage, users can be seen shooting through walls, auto-aiming, and even tracking enemies’ positions on the map in real time. Naturally, the community has started asking the same question once again: “Has Battlefield still not figured out how to stop cheaters?”
Many fans are comparing the situation to the cheating issues in the Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 beta just weeks ago. At that time, Activision faced similar backlash and had to make an official statement about the issue which you can read in our earlier report on the Black Ops 7 beta.
EA has not yet released an official comment, but sources close to the studio claim that Battlefield 6’s anti-cheat system is still in an “active learning” phase. In other words, the detection algorithm is designed to improve with each report, becoming more effective against new exploits over time.
However the community isn’t entirely convinced. Many players argue that Battlefield has been plagued by the same problems for years, calling it “a tradition at this point.” Meanwhile, some mod developers have claimed that the game’s anti-cheat framework is still vulnerable to external manipulation.
