The February 2026 Pokémon Presents delivered one of the franchise’s most content-packed showcases in years. Celebrating Pokémon’s 30th anniversary, The Pokémon Company rolled out major game updates, competitive announcements, nostalgic throwbacks, and a full Generation 10 reveal.
Here’s everything announced during the presentation.
Pokémon Red and Blue Music Collection Game Boy System
A collectible mini Game Boy device was revealed featuring interchangeable cartridges for individual tracks from Pokémon Red & Blue. Designed as a music player, the system includes 45 classic songs from the original games. It’s positioned as a premium collector’s item celebrating the series’ origins.
Pokémon World Championships 2026
The 2026 World Championships will take place August 28 – 30, 2026, in San Francisco. The event preview showcased venue details, special Pokémon Center merchandise, and exclusive Pokémon XP-themed artwork for attendees.

Pokémon Trading Card Game – 30th Anniversary Set
A brand-new Pokémon TCG set is arriving later in 2026. The expansion will feature reprints of classic cards alongside anniversary-themed designs celebrating three decades of competitive play.
Pokémon GO 10th Anniversary
Pokémon GO is marking its 10-year milestone with returning Pokémon and a new GO Tour event running from February 28 to March 1.
Players can also redeem the promo code “GOTOURKALOS” for special encounters.
‘Red’ appearing in Pokémon Masters EX
The original Pokémon protagonist, Red, will be making an appearance in Pokémon Masters EX. His arrival coincides with the Pokémon Presents celebration event and includes new battle content.
Pokémon Café ReMix Update
New Pokémon from the Kanto region are being added to Pokémon Café ReMix, alongside fresh chef outfits and café decorations. Limited-time events are also rolling out.
Pokémon Sleep: New “Mew Missions”
Pokémon Sleep is introducing special Mew-themed missions. Players can complete event objectives to encounter and research Mew in-game.
Pokémon Unite adding legendary birds
Articuno, Zapdos, and Moltres are joining Pokémon Unite. Additional Pokémon including Meganium, Typhlosion, and Feraligatr were also confirmed as part of future updates.

Pokémon TCG Pocket – Paldean Wonders and Rewards
The Paldean Wonders expansion is launching in Pokémon TCG Pocket. To celebrate both the expansion and the 30th anniversary, players will receive daily login rewards over the coming months, including cosmetic items and in-game accessories.
Pokémon XD: Gale of Darkness on Switch Online
The 2005 GameCube title Pokémon XD: Gale of Darkness is being added to Nintendo Switch Online’s GameCube Classics library in March 2026 as part of the Expansion Pack tier.
Pokémon FireRed and LeafGreen compatibility update
Pokémon FireRed and LeafGreen are now available on Nintendo Switch platforms, with Pokémon HOME compatibility confirmed for a later update.
Pokémon Champions release window announced
Pokémon Champions is officially set to launch in 2026. The competitive-focused title will release on both Nintendo Switch and mobile platforms, supporting cross-play functionality.
Pokémon Legends: Z-A – Mega Garchomp Z
A new form, Mega Garchomp Z, is being introduced in Pokémon Legends: Z-A via the Mega Dimension DLC. Players can obtain it through a Mystery Gift distribution.
New ‘DJ Rotom’ form revealed
A brand-new Rotom form called DJ Rotom was unveiled. The stereo-inspired variant will appear in Pokémon Pokopia.
New Pokémon Pokopia features
Additional gameplay features were revealed for Pokémon Pokopia, including expanded customization, new activities, and fresh Pokémon interactions. The game continues to position itself as one of 2026’s most anticipated spin-offs.
Pokémon Winds & Pokémon Waves Officially Revealed
The biggest announcement of the showcase was the reveal of Generation 10: Pokémon Winds and Pokémon Waves.
