Grand Theft Auto VI may have just received another unexpected leak. This time from what appears to be an old animation reel belonging to a former Rockstar developer. The clips aren’t gameplay, and they don’t show anything that confirms the final product, but the animations inside them are already sparking big conversations across the community.
The reel showcases small but surprisingly detailed interactions that point to a more immersive open world than any GTA game to date. One sequence shows a character approaching what looks like a city bike-rental station, unlocking a public bicycle, and transitioning into a riding animation. It’s a tiny mechanic on paper, but one that hints at a denser, more lived-in city where cars aren’t the only meaningful form of transportation.

Another animation depicts a character climbing into the back of a pickup truck and riding along as it moves. The interaction is smooth, grounded, and far more dynamic than the “stand still and hope for the best” physics GTA players are familiar with. If this system exists in the final game, it could open the door to new stealth approaches, emergent encounters, or simply more believable everyday NPC behavior.

Still, nothing here is confirmed. These could be early test animations, abandoned ideas, or leftover experiments never intended for the final build. But if even a fraction of this makes it into GTA 6, the game’s world may end up far more interactive than Rockstar has shown publicly.
Every new GTA 6 detail, leak, and reveal lands on VGNW and X as soon as it breaks. Stay tuned to and follow.
